About Uhuru Football Club
Bringing hope to our community, teaching life skills and discipline through sports
Pastor Lukhanyo Mlanzeli took a self-initiative to start a football club in the rural community of Newlands, to assist and guide young boys and young men of that community by giving them life and sporting skills in a fun and self-recreational manner.
The football club was founded in September of 2019, initially consisting only of an under 11 boys squad. With time we bave been able to extend and have another age group which is the boys under 17 soccer squad.
